Red.es chooses 56 companies to take part in the Spanish pavilion at MWC Barcelona 2019

Spanish Pavilion

The public business entity Red.es has published the list of 56 companies which will make up the Spanish Pavilion at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC19), to be held in Barcelona from 25 to 28 February 2019.

For the seventh consecutive year, Red.es is organising and coordinating this business delegation, with a dual objective: to show the world the best national products linked to the mobile industry and to provide the companies chosen with a space and services which enable them to boost their internationalisation, present new products, find investors and expand their client portfolios.

The sectors represented this year are an example of a technology-focused business base, which is dynamic and focused on innovation, with a substantial number of projects linked, inter alia, to smart cities, cybersecurity, the Internet of things, cloud computing, e-commerce, artificial intelligence and digital marketing.

The Spanish Pavilion at the upcoming MWC19 (zones CS30 y CS50) will reflect an extensive geographical distribution, being made up of 18 companies from Catalonia, 16 from the Comunidad de Madrid autonomous region, 8 from Galicia, 5 from Andalusia, 3 from the Comunidad Valenciana autonomous region, 2 from Extremadura, 2 from the Basque Country, 1 from Aragon and 1 from Castile-La Mancha.

Of the 56 companies chosen, 48 will have an exclusive area within the pavilion and 8 will take up the ‘pack visita’ option, meaning that they will benefit from all of the services on offer in the pavilion but without having their own stand.
